Setting http.proxyStrictSSL=false also has no effect at all. I've already added the complete certificate chain for and to the system, but it made no difference. I've seen in microsoft/vscode#45792 (comment) that VS Code is already using the system's certificates, however chrmati suggests in microsoft/vscode#124655 (comment) that contrary to browsers VS Code might not download any missing certificates of the certificate chain. Extension activation failed: "unable to get local issuer certificate" ![]() GitHub Copilot could not connect to server.
